Pet Medical Center of Edmond is looking for a compassionate full-time Veterinarian to join our small animal practice in Edmonds, OK.

This position is currently offering a six figure base salary, generous sign on bonus, paid parental support, and schedule flexibility. This role is Monday-Friday, no weekends!

About the Position

We are seeking a full-time Veterinarian to join our three doctor small animal practice in beautiful Edmond, Oklahoma. We are looking for a candidate that is a self starter, has a positive, upbeat personality, and while prior experience would be great, New Grads are welcome.

We are closed on weekends!

About the Hospital

At Pet Medical Center of Edmonds, we provide preventative/geriatric care, soft tissue surgery, dental x-rays and procedures, ultrasound and in house diagnostics. Our state-of-the-art facility includes three exam rooms and a designated surgical suite allowing us to provide pets with a high-quality level of care.

Examine animals to assess their health and diagnose problems Treat and dress wounds Perform surgery on animals Test for and vaccinate against diseases Operate medical equipment, such as x-ray machines Advise animal owners about general care, medical conditions, and treatments Prescribe medication Work closely in collaboration with team members to provide high quality care Qualifications

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree required Licensure in the state/s candidate will be working Ability to show compassion to both pets and their owners Outstanding dexterity in handling animals while performing precise tasks Ability to react quickly and make decisions under pressure about the wellbeing of an animal Strong fondness and understanding of animals Good communication and interpersonal skills Knowledge of animal behavior Ability to use medical technologies during diagnosis, research and surgery of animals
