*** M/S Tele RN Nights & EOW - 36hrs *** *** MUST BE ABLE TO READ TELE STRIPS *** Unit Name: Phippen 6/7. Brief Unit Description: 32 Bed Ortho/Neuro Med/Surg Unit. This is a private unit admitting all other medical overflow. Census: 32 Total Beds. 16 beds in Phippen 6 & 16 beds in Phippen 7. Floating Required: Travelers are required to float to applicable units when requested. Rotating Shifts Required: Day Rotators may be rotated between (7a-7p, 11a-11p or 7p-7a) shifts when needed. Night positions do not rotate. Rotation frequency: low. Years of Experience Required: Minimum 2 years experience. Skill Sets Required: Med/Surg RN with neuro assessment skills and telemetry competency; ability to interpret Tele Strips. Clinician to Patient Ratio: Day and Eve shifts are 1:4, may go up to 5. Night shift is 1:5 or 6. Patient Population: Scheduled elective Orthopedic and Neuro/Surg patients, Fractures, Neuro patients and all other medical patients overflow. Bed Count: 32 beds. Telemetry unit requiring specific assessment skills. Neuro assessment competency is essential. Additional Details

A completed primary COVID-19 vaccination series that is approved by the FDA or the World Health Organization (WHO) OR an up-to-date COVID vaccine if a primary series was never received or completed is required. No exemptions or waivers (religious/medical) will be considered. Documentation of two measles vaccines, two mumps vaccine, and one rubella (German measles) vaccines or two MMR vaccines. OR Proof of immunity via blood test (will show antibodies if immune to measles, mumps, and rubella). Vaccine requirement if titer result is not immune or low immunity. Strongly Preferred. Record of 3 Hep B vaccines OR Proof of immunity via blood test (will show antibodies if immune for Hepatitis B OR Declination. Vaccine required during flu season Sept 15th - April 30th. Document must be uploaded as PDF. No exemptions or waivers (religious/medical) will be considered. Must have documentation of TB skin test screening within 3 months of start date and updated if >6 month break. OR Documentation of a negative QuantiFERON TB Test or T-spot (blood test for TB) within 3 months of start date and updated if >6 month break. Physician Statement signed by MD/DO/NP/PA. Within 365 days of start date and updated if >6 month break. Follow all COVID-19 guidelines as per local regulations.
