Technical Skills and Competencies Required 4+ years Oracle PL/SQL development experience including experience in each of the following areas: Creating and maintaining large packages, stored procedures, functions, record structures, tables, views, indexes and triggers PL/SQL development, unit testing, code troubleshooting and debugging Query performance tuning Database design Soft skills:
Strong verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills Self-motivated individual with strong desire to solve problems through investigative means; strong organizational skills Ability to work independently and manage one's time effectively, as well as function effectively and collaboratively within a team Exercise good judgment and decision-making skills Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for implementing business logic in Oracle DB packages, functions and procedures that supports the development, deployment and support of large mission critical enterprise Web applications Involved in all phases of the software lifecycle with an emphasis on database logic implementation and design Assisting in the design of the application architecture with a focus on scalability, maintainability, security and performance Following established coding standards and naming conventions Other Skills and Competencies:
Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and SOLID design principles Experience with Restful Web Services (Web API / REST API) Experience with Git or any other source control system Experience with Azure DevOps pipelines Experience with Microsoft .Net Core Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell
