Job Description:
Summary:
- We are seeking a Senior Business/Data Analyst Contractor who has SAP or SAC experience and will have the responsibility for eliciting business needs, performing detailed analysis, documentation, modeling processes, evaluating impacts, prioritizing business requests, develop test scripts, support testing and partnering with the project teams to ensure the successful delivery of new SAP ERP implementation and 3rd party integrations.
- Solve complex business problems utilizing business process redesign and cloud computing technologies.
- Engage with stakeholders to document requirements and assess AS-IS processes and develop new processes and/or business flows.
- Consult with the data engineering team and functional unit owners and document a gap analysis of capabilities, requirements and needs against technology.
- Apply business process re-engineering methodologies for systems modernization
- Develops new standard operating procedures documentation aligned with business requirements.
- Develop and maintain efficient planning models along with reporting to support the client's business planning process.
- Prepare and present findings, recommendations, new operating models, and new workflows in consultation with the business team.
- Creates methodology to measure process performance against established metrics.
- Responsible for completing assignments with the ability to work on 1-3 projects
- Understanding the business needs and requests, identifying solutions, gathering information, and translating business needs into documented artifacts that are understandable to business and IT personnel alike
- Work with the business users to analyse processes and system issues and turn them into actionable system changes that benefit the requesting party(s), improve efficiency in operations and overall performance
- Collaborate with project teams and business partners during project planning, incremental software delivery reviews, and User Acceptance testing to ensure the software has been implemented based on the specifications.

- Modeling experience (e.g., process flows, use cases, swim lane diagrams, AS-IS / TO-BE diagrams,mock-ups/wireframes)
- Experience in SAP or SAC
- Experience in Finance or FP&A domain is a plus
- Experience in Jira is a plus
- Knowledge of Information Security Awareness
- Understanding of ERP applications & integrations
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related majors.
- 10+ years of IT experience; preferably in enterprise Business-to-Business durableable goods, construction, or building materials manufacturing.
- 10+ years' experience in systems analysis, data analysis and design with proven record of successful large scale project implementations
- Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or similar certification is a plus.
