Saxon Global is hiring: Data Analyst/PowerBI Developer (12665) in Chicago

This individual should have 3+ years of experience with data visualization. Should be able to explore and interpret large and complex datasets independently and proactively (can be 1 million plus records per day) and able to tell a story with that data and build visualizations that provide decision making based insights with accuracy

Job Summary:
- Develop and automate large data sets for the purpose of data mining and analysis
- Data mining and analysis for ad hoc projects will include: exploratory data analysis, and data visualization
- Develop insightful dashboards that management can use to produce informed business decisions
- Understand data and apply available tools to solve evolving business problems
- 5+ years of experience as Data Analyst, Business Intelligence Developer, or a related analytical role
- Willingness to continue to develop/learn new technical skills in support of new tools/methods
- Significant exposure to SQL and relational databases
- High degree of proficiency in data visualization (Power BI, Tableau, Spotfire, Excel....)
- Strong analysis, data manipulation, and problem solving skills
- Desire to attack complex data sets
- Ability to work independently and manage several simultaneous efforts with a focus on results

Required Skills : - This is more of a Data Visualization role using PowerBI. Focus is using PowerBI (or Tableau) to create reports/dashboard using Data from the United.com website. - 3+ years of experience as Data Analyst, Business Intelligence Developer, or a related analytical role - High degree of proficiency in data visualization (Power BI, Tableau, Spotfire, Excel....) - Significant exposure to SQL and relational databases
