Supervises/manages the general accounting functions of the organization and the preparation of all financial reports reflecting earnings, balance sheet, profits, cash balances, and other financial results. Formulates and administers approved accounting practices throughout the organization to assure the financial and operating reports accurately reflect the condition of the business and provide reliable information necessary to control operations.
Essential Functions:
• Supervise and maintain organizational general ledgers, prepare operating results up to a consolidated statement.
• Perform period closing cycle activities including analysis of budget variances and preparation of monthly financial statements and statistics.
• Responsible for accuracy of the general ledger.
• Oversee inter-company transactions.
• Jointly oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable and backup positions during absences.
• Jointly oversee account reconciliations.
• Jointly prepare the year-end audit package.
• Jointly develop new reports via Oracle or spreadsheet.
• Jointly maintain integrity of Oracle reporting and data.
• Jointly maintain parts in Oracle cost accounting system and maintain various cost items.
• Maintain accounts payable database to facilitate the annual 1099 process and issue 1099/945 filings.
• Jointly maintains stock transactions for semi-annual dividend payments and the processing of stock sales and stock ledger reconciliation.
• Performs other financial related duties or projects as assigned.

Job Specifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required, Master's degree and/or CPA certification preferred
• Excel; Microsoft suite of products
• Oracle/EPR
