Role: Angular Developer
Type: Contract
Work Location: New York
Contract Duration: 3 months
Hourly Pay Rate: $70-75 C2C

Responsibilities:

Mandatory:
  • Refactor and upgrade Angular applications (Angular 8 & 14) to the latest Angular versions using Angular CLI for compatibility and performance enhancements.
  • Design and develop new features, including auto-populated dropdowns with filters, LDAP/RBAC controls, and enhanced UI components using Angular Material or Bootstrap.
  • Perform cleanup of outdated Angular libraries and dependencies, utilizing NPM to install peer-compatible versions for current component classes.
  • Write unit tests using Jasmine and Karma, conduct code reviews via GitHub/BitBucket, and ensure stability and quality of front-end applications.

Optional:
  • Collaborate with backend developers to integrate microservices and backend functionalities through RESTful APIs, enhancing data flow and user experience.

Required Skills & Experience:
  • 5+ years of front-end development experience with Angular (expertise in Angular 14 is highly desirable).
  • Strong proficiency in Angular, including component-based architecture and Angular CLI.
  • Expertise in HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
  • Hands-on experience managing Angular dependencies, libraries, NPM packages, and resolving compatibility issues.
  • Familiarity with consuming RESTful APIs and working with microservices architecture.
  • Basic understanding of UI/UX principles with experience in building responsive interfaces using CSS frameworks like Bootstrap or Tailwind CSS.
  • Proficiency in Git for version control and experience with CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins
