The Opportunity
This position works out of our
Scarborough, Maine
location in the
ID Infectious Disease Division
. In this role, you will analyze quality standards for components, materials, and services, applying measures, sampling methods, testing methodologies, and other procedures to ensure compliance with quality standards.
What
You’ll
Work On
Apply quality principles, analyze quality records, prepare reports, and recommend improvements.
Conduct inspections, verifications, and validations of components or materials used in development processes.
Identify and address recurring issues related to product quality or testing reliability, documenting quality issues and performance measures for management review.
Liaise with external vendors as needed.
Support production in resolving quality issues in accordance with established procedures.
Demonstrate commitment to the development, implementation, and effectiveness of the Quality Management System in compliance with ISO, FDA, and other regulatory agencies.
Exhibit professional behavior with both internal and external business associates, reflecting positively on the company and adhering to company policies and practices.
Perform other duties as assigned based on the changing needs of the business.
Required
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Life Science, or a related technical field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge of Agile programs and methodologies.
Proficient in database software, internet software, inventory software, spreadsheet software, and word processing software.
Familiarity with FDA, cGMPs/QSR, and ISO quality system requirements.
Strong technical writing and effective communication skills.
Preferred
Qualifications
Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) certification.
