TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Peoria, Illinois, 61637 About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty: Adult Medical Specialty Job Duration: 13-week contract Shift: 12-hour nights, 3 shifts per week Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Med-Surg License: Active RN license Certifications: BLS - American Heart Association Must-Have: Negative drug screen, understanding of a drug-free campus policy Job Description: - Work on a general medical unit handling conditions like cellulitis, pancreatitis, diabetes, and pain management. - Perform some bedside procedures as required. - Utilize Epic and Pyxis equipment. - Follow unit-specific patterns: every other weekend and holiday work is required. - Be flexible to float to other similar units, with specified nurse-to-patient ratios. - No visible tattoos or piercings except for ears; wear any color scrubs. - Undergo a comprehensive 2-shift orientation program and participate in ongoing education. - Must comply with call-off policy equivalent to 12 hours every 13 weeks without penalty. - Local candidates accepted and orientation hours are nonbillable.
