TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PICU RN in Santa Clara, California, 95051 About The Position Job Title: Maternal Child Health (MCH) Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) - Critical Job Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 12-hour shifts, 07:00 PM to 07:30 AM Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: 1-year recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience License: Registered Nurse License (in the state where care is provided) Certifications: - Basic Life Support - Pediatric Advanced Cardiac Life Support Must-Have: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Job Description: - Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care. - Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment. - Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. - Educate and support patients’ families regarding care plans and expectations. - Maintain compliance with hospital policies, health regulations, and nursing best practices. - Participate in unit meetings and continuous education sessions to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
