TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified CVICU RN in San Diego, California, 92102 About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: CVICU/ICU Float Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00) Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Active CA state license required upon submission Certifications: ACLS, BCLS, NIH Must-Have: - CVICU experience with equipment such as IABP (Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump), Swan Ganz, Epicardial Pacing Wire - A-lines and phlebotomy experience - Proficiency with PICC Lines, Chest Tubes, Vents, Tele, IV Start Job Description: - Nurses must have CVICU experience with the ability to handle specialized equipment and perform relevant procedures. - The position involves floating between multiple locations based on census and unit requirements. - Nurses may be required to float to emergency department inpatient overflow. - A 4-week schedule will be provided two weeks in advance; no blocked or self-scheduling is allowed. - Nurses will be informed of their assigned location 2 hours before the shift starts. - The patient population includes Cardiac, Neuro, General, Stroke, Medical, Surgical, Kidney, Liver solid organ transplant, and Trauma. - COVID-19 and Flu vaccines are mandatory, with only medical or religious exemptions considered. - Successful candidates will be required to complete up to 12 hours of orientation and modules, which are non-billable.
