TravelNurseSource is working with GQR Healthcare to find a qualified Psych RN in Los Angeles, California, 90012 About The Position Job Title: Correctional Health • Registered Nurse • Nights Join our team as a Registered Nurse in Correctional Health Services, working night shifts on a 20•week contract. Responsibilities: • Administer medication in special housing areas. • Respond to inmate requests for medical attention. • Perform basic wound care. Requirements: • Active CA RN License. • BLS, Fire Card, MAB/CPI Certification. • Two years of psychiatric inpatient experience. • Experience in a secured environment preferred. • Travel experience beneficial. • Covid vaccination booster if eligible. Additional Information: • Role may involve floating between locations. • Patient ratios comply with CA law. • No on•call requirement. • Any color scrubs acceptable, Navy Blue or Black preferred. • PPE and parking provided. • EMR used is Cerner. • Role involves working with adult court behavioral services, psych, and correctional cases.
