TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Oakland, California, 94611 About The Position Job Title: Maternal Child Health Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Labor & Delivery - Critical Need Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: - 1-year recent full-time equivalent experience in Labor and Delivery (within the last 3 years) - Preferred: Five or more years of recent experience in Labor and Delivery - Preferred: 1 year of high-risk labor and delivery experience (within the last 2 years) - Preferred: High-risk OB experience License: Registered Nurse License (in the state where care is provided) Certifications: - Basic Life Support (BLS) - Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) - ACLS Must-Have: - Commitment to Winter Plan Need Job Description: - Provide comprehensive care to mothers and newborns during labor and delivery - Collaborate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care - Monitor and document the mother and baby's condition throughout the process - Administer medications and assist with pain management and interventions as required - Conduct high-risk assessments and provide appropriate care measures - Maintain a safe and supportive environment for patients - Educate and support patients and families regarding childbirth and postpartum care - Exhibit strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills in high-stress situations - Maintain compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards 26366901EXPTEMP Job Requirements Required for Onboarding ACLS - AHA BLS BLS - AHA Pharmacology Skills Checklist Specialty Exam 5 Benefits of Travel Nursing Adapting to new facilities and teams challenges your problem-solving skills.
