TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Redwood City, California, 94063 About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse - Maternal Child Health Job Specialty: Labor & Delivery - Critical Need Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day - 12x3 - 11AM to 11PM Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: 1 year of recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience in Labor and Delivery. High-risk labor and delivery experience within the last 2 years is preferred. License: Registered Nurse License (in the state where care is provided) Certifications: - Basic Life Support - Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program - ACLS certification Must-Have: - Winter Plan Need Job Description: - Provide nursing care and monitor patient health throughout the labor and delivery process. - Administer medications and assist during childbirth. - Educate patients and their families about labor, delivery, and recovery processes. - Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans. - Maintain accurate patient records and document all care provided. - Demonstrate strong critical thinking and decision-making skills in a high-pressure environment. - Ensure adherence to healthcare standards and protocols. - Provide support and guidance to less experienced staff or students.
