TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Endoscopy RN in Madison, Wisconsin, 53792 About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: PACU - GI/Bronchoscopy Procedures Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 17:00), Monday-Friday with rotating start times between 06:30-09:00. Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week Experience: Minimum two years of recent experience in sedated GI/pulmonary procedures within the last three years. Inpatient RN experience in acute care is mandatory. License: Current nursing license in the state or a compact license from the permanent address state. Certifications: BLS and ACLS certified through the American Heart Association. Must-Have: Ability to perform Moderate Sedation and experience in recovery for sedated GI/pulmonary procedures. Basic Arrhythmia experience is required. Job Description: - Provide care for patients during GI and Bronchoscopy procedures, including the administration of sedation. - Be an integral part of a surgical team performing multispecialty procedures. - Manage the operating room assigned, ensuring effective patient care. - Participate in rotating on-call duties, including one weekday call per week and weekend call every 4-5 weekends. - Be prepared to stay beyond scheduled shifts to meet patient care needs. - Float to multiple units or locations depending on staffing needs to complete the contract. - Orientation is mandatory for new nurses, typically lasting about one week.
