TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Janesville, Wisconsin, 53548 About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Med-Surg Adult Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights (12-hour shifts, 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM) Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: Seeking experienced nurses License: Current WI License required Certifications: CPR/BLS required Must-Have: RN must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 and Flu Job Description: - Utilize the nursing process and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members in caring for patients. - Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques, policies and procedures, standards of care, and state laws/practice acts. - Document care according to standards. - Develop, initiate, and execute a patient plan of care according to the individualized needs of the patient, as prescribed by a physician and/or hospital policy, including patient and family instruction. - Participate in department or unit performance improvement activities; may include shared governance. - Provide clinical expertise and guidance to other units/departments in support of the patient’s longitudinal plan of care. - Use critical thinking in regard to patient safety and patient experience, and escalate appropriately through the chain of command. - Travel RN may be required to float to other units. - Holiday coverage is required.
