TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in Neptune, New Jersey, 07753 About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse - Critical Care Unit Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: CCU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift, Every Other Weekend and as Needed, Holidays as Needed Hours per Shift: 12.5 hours (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) Experience: 2 years of strong experience in critical care with a background in med/surg License: NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license Certifications: BLS-AHA, ACLS-AHA, Telemetry certification or competency exam Must-Have: Ability to float to other ICUs, High acuity care experience, Covid care experience Description: The Registered Nurse is responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care. Responsibilities include planning, implementing, and documenting nursing care based on patient needs. Nurses will identify patient needs, determine priorities through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. They will develop, implement, and coordinate individualized plans of care for assigned patients through initial and ongoing assessments. This role requires conducting assessments based on patient problems or needs, physician medical diagnosis, and functional health framework. Performing therapeutic nursing interventions and managing patient care are key responsibilities. The nurse will document care based on standards of care and practice, patient acuity, and clinical priorities. Advocating for evidence-based practice care standards and supporting the adoption of evidence-based practices and innovations in care delivery are essential.
