As part of the AWS Solutions organization, we have a vision to provide business applications, leveraging Amazon’s unique experience and expertise, that are used by millions of companies worldwide to manage day-to-day operations. We will accomplish this by accelerating our customers’ businesses through delivery of intuitive and differentiated technology solutions that solve enduring business challenges.

We're looking for a Principal Product Manager who's inspired to deliver direct & massive positive impact on Amazon's customers, and disrupt existing industries. Our Principal Product Managers have end-end ownership over a significant technical product. We expect you to dive deep into the technology from both a product and customer perspective. Customers may include developers, IT departments, or enterprise CIOs from the world’s best companies. To succeed, you will have technical acumen and a passion for both technology and business.

From day 1, you will be responsible for a large product and have the autonomy to think strategically and make data-driven decisions to drive innovative solutions. Our successful Principal Product Managers will be exposed to multiple businesses/products, and will grow into senior executives who independently run large business segments and organizations. This product will serve a complex ecosystem of users and companies that interact with each other, leveraging data insights and machine learning.

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead the strategy and expansion of Amazon Connect agent scheduling into new fields, driving growth both in the service and enabling Connect to delight more customers.

  • Work with GTM - product marketing, business development, partner teams, and sales to drive adoption and usage.
  • Speak publicly at customer events about our offerings.

A Day in the Life:

You will typically a) talk to one or more customers most days: listening carefully to understand what needs to be done, b) spend time writing (e.g., 5 Questions, PR/FAQs, business requirements), c) meet with engineering to drive delivery of the features you've prioritized, and work with our go-to-market teams to drive sales.
