Job Title: Senior Data Analyst/Data Warehouse Consultant
Location(s): San Jose, CA
(Hybrid - 3 Days onsite)
Objective: This Resource will support data engineer and data analysis work for the Integrated Justice System and BI Platform Modernization projects.
Required Skills & Abilities:
- 3+ years' experience of Relational Data Modeling design and development of conceptual, logical, and physical data models
- User Interface to DB field mapping to support development teams
- Report writing and Dashboard design, development, and transition.
- Peer Reviews and recommendations
- Documentation, including knowledge capture and diagramming
- Troubleshooting, Root Cause Analysis, Work Arounds, fixes
- Good written and verbal communications with peers and at times stakeholders
Tools:
- Microsoft SQL SSIS, SSAS SSRS
- 5+ years' experience of Power BI Report Server, Power BI Service
- Understanding and knowledge of CJIC and public and safety and justice systems and associated datasets
Education:
- Bachelor's degree higher in a quantitative field (i.e. Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering) or equivalent work experience
Process:
1. The County will select candidates for interviews with the County's subject matter experts.
2. The County will engage the individual through a Work Order with the company. Depending on the position, additional contract terms and conditions may be required. Those terms and conditions will be developed during final negotiations. The Work Order must be signed by County Counsel or designee indicating approval as to form and legality, to be valid.
3. Individuals selected through this process shall also be subject to all the contract requirements in their company's MSA, as amended), as well as County standard policies, practices, and codes of conduct and may be required to sign additional County documents.
