Job Description

Enterprise Horizon Consulting Group is seeking a dedicated Scrum Master to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Agile methodologies and be passionate about facilitating efficient and productive team collaboration. As a Scrum Master, you will guide and support our development teams in the adoption and implementation of Agile practices, ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality products. This is a remote position.

Responsibilities:

  1. Organize and facilitate all scrum related meetings (stand-ups, program increment planning, sprint planning, sprint review, retrospectives, other reviews, demos, etc.)
  2. Work with the team to develop project plans, roadmaps and manage backlog
  3. Communicate team plans, report impediments for escalation, identify risks/concerns to relevant stakeholders to help resolve
  4. Guide and coach the team on Agile/Scrum principles and practices
  5. Help the team identify and remove impediments to progress
  6. Collaborate with Product Owners to ensure the product backlog is well-defined and prioritized
  7. Promote a culture of continuous improvement and teamwork
  8. Track and report on project progress and team performance
  9. Support the team in achieving high levels of performance and quality
  10. Foster an environment of transparency, trust, and open communication

Minimum Requirements:

  1. Active clearance highly desired. Must be able to pass federal background check.
  2. Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field
  3. 5+ years proven experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar role within an Agile environment for federal or DoD project
  4. Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent certification
  5. Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and frameworks, particularly Scrum
  6. Excellent facilitation, coaching, and mentoring skills
  7. Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to overcoming challenges
  8. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  9. Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  10. Familiarity with IBM Rational Team Concert (RTC) a plus
