Redeemer Health Care Center, located in the lively Uptown area, has a rare opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to lead our team as the Director of Nursing (DON)! Redeemer is a 119 bed senior care campus providing comprehensive services, including short-term rehab, long-term skilled care, and memory care. We also have an on-site child daycare and early learning center staffed by dedicated, educated teachers. Along with generous benefits, we are offering a $10,000 Bonus!


In this role, you will supervise nursing staff, oversee patient care, and help us maintain high standards for care for our residents. Our ideal candidate will have experience working in a Skilled Nursing Facility, have strong leadership skills, and use innovative methods to create and implement processes that are used among all nursing staff members.


This is a Full-Time, benefit eligible position working Monday through Friday.


Salary Range: $105,000 to $120,000 depending on experience


Director of Nursing (DON) responsibilities:

  1. Plan, develop, direct, and supervise our entire nursing department in accordance with local, state, and federal guidelines and regulations.
  2. Ensure our residents’ physical, intellectual, emotional, and social well-being needs are met.
  3. Promote and demonstrate excellence within our multi-disciplinary team.
  4. Develop methods for coordination of all resident services to ensure the continuity of person-centered care.
  5. Meet expectations for participation in reimbursement programs in effort to maintain our reputation for quality of care.
  6. Lead change efforts and promote innovations in resident care.
  7. Have clinical creativity to manage department within state, federal and professional guidelines.
  8. Maintain the highest standard for providing resident care through exceptional hiring, training, and mentoring programs.

Director of Nursing (DON) skills and requirements:

  1. Must have previous healthcare management or supervisory experience.
  2. Prior Director of Nursing (DON) experience preferred.
  3. Must have a current MN Registered Nurse license and be in good standing.
  4. Leadership expertise, demonstrated clinical and assessment competencies.
  5. Strong team-building and communication skills are required, along with excellent professional and supportive supervisory experience.
