Role will be hybrid. Deepwatch is seeking an innovative and experienced marketing leader who is passionate about creating growth marketing strategies and advancing Deepwatch brand awareness to help drive our next stage of growth. The CMO is a strong marketing leader and storyteller with vast experience in developing and driving high growth Cloud|SaaS brands via sophisticated and progressive demand generation, brand marketing and channel GTM strategies. This critical role reports directly to the CEO will lead Deepwatch's marketing initiatives in partnership with our sales leaders and executive team to differentiate, position and evangelize the unique Deepwatch security platform. You will collaborate with other members of the Executive and Senior Leadership Team, Sales, Product, R&D, and Marketing teams to spearhead the next stage of growth initiatives. In this role you'll get to: Develop and execute a marketing strategy focused on customer acquisition and ARR growth Collaborate with sales, product, delivery, and engineering teams to craft and deliver consistent messaging across all channels, including website, digital assets, GTM partners, PR, analyst relations, and digital marketing Continuously refine value messaging to enhance brand awareness and market differentiation Define success metrics for marketing programs, holding accountability for revenue outcomes Articulate the competitive advantages and customer value of the company's platform, aligning with customer outcomes that drive security maturity Translate business objectives and market trends into a cohesive go-to-market strategy Partner with Senior Leadership to ensure alignment on messaging, company mission, and thought leadership Lead the creation and implementation of a content marketing strategy targeting cybersecurity leadership and practitioner personas Oversee multi-channel demand generation programs, including paid media, content marketing, social media, field marketing, and partner marketing Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer segmentation to refine go-to-market strategies Monitor marketing performance, using data-driven insights to optimize strategies Stay ahead of industry trends and identify opportunities for innovation Conduct quarterly assessments of go-to-market processes to address performance gaps Provide data-driven insights to Executive Leadership on the effectiveness of marketing programs Lead public relations efforts and manage agency relationships Collaborate with cross-department leaders to build employer branding and champion the company internally Drive analyst relations and establish strong industry analyst relationships Define and execute corporate event messaging and experience strategies Lead and inspire a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of creativity and collaboration Align marketing initiatives with company strategy and financial goals Establish the company as a thought leader through blogs, industry events, and speaking engagements Partner with content, digital marketing, and demand generation teams to effectively deliver the company story Deliver sales enablement to GTM partners to accelerate onboarding and productivity Formalize marketing processes, measurement tools, and reporting To be successful in this role, you'll need: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field 10 years of experience in sales, product, and brand marketing leadership A proven track record in developing global go-to-market strategies and leading large programs Strong knowledge of digital marketing platforms, offline media, and marketing technologies, including SEO, content marketing, social media, account-based marketing, and conversion rate optimization Relevant experience in security software products and strategic business roles, particularly in SaaS growth Excellent leadership and people management skills, with experience leading high-performing teams A strategic mindset with the ability to align marketing initiatives with business goals To lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams across multiple geographies Excellent communication and presentation skills, especially for C-level executives and board members MBA toolkit (preferred but not required) Willingness to travel as needed To pass a pre-employment background and drug screen as per applicable laws The anticipated salary range for this role is $200,000 to $315,000 bonus stock options benefits. Actual compensation may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level.
