Job Summary Lead the Office of Enrollment and Student Services including activities related to recruitment, enrollment, and student advisement for College of Nursing and Health Innovations (CONHI) students across all departments and programs. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Leadership for the Office of Enrollment and Student Services (OESS) including direct supervision of the OESS Directors and Administrative Assistant to the OESS Executive Director. Lead the OESS strategic plan implementation and evaluation. Coordinate, in collaboration with Department Chairs and Program Directors, the activities that grow, improve, and maintain CONHI academic programs. Oversees special program contracts and establishment of new partnerships with Community Colleges and ISDs in collaboration with OESS Director of Recruitment and UTA Office of Legal Affairs. Liaison between academic departments and CONHI. Serves as a resource on matters related to policies and procedures. Oversee graduate degree plans, course sequencing, and model degree plans. Direct and monitor processes related to upper-division application and admission processes- pre-ranking, ranking, and post ranking. Collaborate with academic departments supervising admission, immunization, and non-academic appeals and concerns. Oversee accuracy and updating of content on academic program webpages. Collaborate with Office of First Year Courses to ensure degree alignment and student management. Oversee and address escalated student issues regarding admission, enrollment, progression/retention, and graduation. Collaborate with other university units on student issues. Coordinate responses to students from the Office of Student Conduct and academic non-progression student letters. Reviews Maintains for academic programs and includes running reports and managing systems to report information. Validates student progression and status letters. Serve as a member of the CONHI Dean’s Council. Represent CONHI at University committee/meetings regarding admission, progression, financial aid, enrollment management. Represent OESS in meetings with select external partners. Engages in personal professional development to ensure best practices, innovation, and high-level services are provided. Performs other duties assigned. Minimum Qualifications Master’s degree in education, counseling, student affairs or a related degree or eleven (11) years of an equivalent combination of education and experience. Five (5) years of experience in student services. Five (5) years of experience in a management or leadership role. Preferred Qualifications Doctorate degree in education, counseling, student affairs, or related degree. Eight (8) or more years of experience in leading a student services organization in higher education. Five (5) or more years of experience serving as an advisor. Three (3) or more years of experience in advising nursing program and/or allied health. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Communication and negotiating skills. Management & leadership skills. Ability to evaluate processes and develop policies and procedures regarding enrollment and advising. Experience & understanding of curriculum & faculty role. Ability to identify and access resources. Ability for management of fiscal planning, budget management, and reporting. Ability to manage semester and annual reporting of admissions and graduation data. Ability to work collaboratively with university and departmental offices. Ability to complete all physical tasks as needed.
