Institutional Relationship Manager - US #9106 Federated Hermes is seeking an Institutional Relationship Manager- US to join its Global Institutional Client Group. This is a unique opportunity to join a large, global team in a newly established role! The successful candidate will leverage extensive experience in institutional client relations in order to ensure exceptional client satisfaction and develop assigned accounts across all of Federated Hermes’ multi-dimensional asset classes. As the Institutional Relationship Manager for several large, US-based clients, excellent investment and operational acumen, along with a proven ability to collaborate to understand and meet clients’ needs will be the foundation of your success! RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: Serve as primary point of contact for assigned institutional client relationships for the entire Federated Hermes relationship across all public and private investment management services, including EOS stewardship. Responsible for successful issue resolution taking into consideration client needs and business constraints. Maintain short-term and long-term client development plans. Identification of cross-selling opportunities of the entire Federated Hermes product suite and services. Maintain Salesforce with client-related contact. Monitor and manage the onboarding process, including problem resolution (in combination with other departments), point of escalation, facilitation of contract execution, and client communication. Build strong relationships with investment teams and maintain current investment and product knowledge. Serve as the liaison between Federated Hermes middle office and investment administration in order to ensure that clients receive the highest standard of operational support. Ensure assigned clients receive support for internal and regulatory requirements. POSITION SPECIFICATIONS: High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor degree, MBA, CFA and/or CPF preferred. Minimum 7 years of experience in a client-facing position required; 10+ years of experience in the investment management industry or with institutional clients preferred. Knowledge of financial markets required. In-depth knowledge of industry financial products; In-depth knowledge of Federated Hermes’ financial products preferred. Knowledge of institutional customers preferred. Must possess/immediately obtain FINRA Series 7 and Series 66 licenses.
