We are seeking Central Regional Sales Manager to manage 8-10 Territory Managers in a specified region (East, Central or West). They're looking for Sales Leaders with outstanding development skills, in field coaching, organizational skills and keen understanding of sales disciplines to drive growth and success. This candidate will own the regional plan and work with the DSMs in that region to meet or exceed our financial commitment.

  • Weekly management of a team of 8-10 TMs to include, planning, one on one time to assess activity, coaching of opportunity targets, development of sales skills and time management.
  • Drive PDC Sales Pillars of Business Knowledge, Customer Knowledge, Communication Internal and External, Pre Call Planning/Organizing and Drive for Results.
  • Regular cadence of time in the field with all TMs to ensure we are upselling our accounts and creating confidence with our customers
  • Working with the SAM (Strategic Account Managers) and GPO Managers to understand the key areas of regional focus and facilitating this activity in the team's sales plans.
  • Involvement in Brady's HR process of reviews, assessments and development.
  • Manage and hold the TM Regional team accountable to Travel and Expense guidelines.
  • Measure self and team to regional KPIs of calls per week, pipeline management and performance to the regional plan.
  • 40% Travel with TMs in the territory
  • Initial point of escalation for territory/customer issues
  • Ensure product, sales and business strategies are cascaded into the individual territory plans
  • Manage and coach performance issues as they arise.
  • Assess team and region for sales needs on a regular basis.
  • Manage expenses for the region and approve per Brady Travel guidelines.
  • Maintain a talent landscape for future development and succession.
  • Communicate regional business model shifts that will ensure success in a given geography.
  • Create business plans and forecast sales on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Represent PDC at Regional trade shows to promote products and services. Display or demonstrate product, using samples or catalog, and emphasize customer benefits.
  • Meet or exceed quota through strong daily/weekly/monthly team management
  • Weekly Pipeline Reviews with TMs and Monthly Territory reviews.
