Key Responsibilities
  • Perform all aspects of residential remodeling projects, from demo to final finish, with a focus on kitchens, bathrooms, and accessibility modifications.
  • Complete ADA-compliant home modifications, including ramps, widened doorways, and accessible showers.
  • Handle framing, finish carpentry, decks, and ramps, along with some exterior siding, window, and door installations.
  • Provide updates to project management teams and supervise subcontractors as needed.
  • Install rental ramps and complete home additions or new builds.
  • Collaborate on projects involving plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems, with a willingness to expand knowledge in these areas.
  • Travel to various local job sites, reporting weekly to the shop for Monday meetings to plan projects.
  • Use JobTread software for project updates and communication.
  • Lift up to 50 lbs and work effectively on-site, occasionally leading teams.
Qualifications
  • Experience:
    • 3-5 years of residential carpentry, remodeling, or construction experience.
    • Proven ability to manage projects from start to finish, including ADA compliance work.
  • Skills:
    • Versatility in all aspects of construction, including framing, finish carpentry, and ADA-compliant modifications.
    • Proficiency with carpentry tools, with tool belts and hand tools preferred. Company tools provided as needed.
    • Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems is a plus.
    • Ability to read blueprints and provide leadership on-site.
    • Empathy and compassion for working with individuals who have faced life-altering challenges.
  • Other Requirements:
    • Valid driver's license; a work truck is a plus.
    • Ability to pass a background check.

Work Schedule
