Job Summary

Credential Information

One of the following valid, unexpired California Credentials is required:
•Education Specialist Instruction Credential in Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) or
•Specialist Credential in Special Education for the Communication Handicapped

For applicants trained out of state:
•Upload a copy of your DHH teaching authorization (make sure the authorization statement is included on the copy)

Current Students enrolled in a California DHH program:
•If you have recently completed a program but have yet to be granted the Preliminary Credential, upload a copy of your Finisher Letter in lieu of credential.
•If you are eligible for an internship, please provide an Intern Eligibility Letter in lieu of credential.

Valid, unexpired English Learner authorization (e.g. embedded EL Authorization, CLAD, BCLAD or SDAIE) is required. Emergency EL authorization may be considered.

FINGERPRINTING FOR CONDUCTING A BACKGROUND INVESTIGATION IS REQUIRED and completed upon offer of employment
