Position Summary
Evaluate web pages following web and accessibility standards. Optimize assigned websites and webpages for marketability and search engine ranking. Manage and complete requests for website content updates. Write for websites and develop content plans, including brand elements, photography, videography, graphics and text. Complete assigned website projects, such as redesigns and content migration. Maintain a schedule of assigned annual content audits and work with campus units to ensure that sites are up to date. Communicate campus achievements, discoveries, stories and key messages to internal and external audiences through digital platforms. Responsible for meeting established deadlines, identifying potential web content, researching, interviewing, writing, editing, evaluating and proofreading web content. Serve as the Strategic Communications liaison to campus units as assigned, and assist with other Strategic Communications projects as needed.
