Creating Connected Communities’ mission is to enhance the lives of children and families experiencing hardship by empowering teens to become community leaders and volunteers. Through 40+ community outreach programs, including its signature Program, Amy’s Holiday Party, CCC serves 7,000+ children and families each year and offers hundreds of teen volunteer opportunities annually. At these programs, children receive meals, books, gifts, educational support, community-building experiences, and much-needed resources. CCC’s Leadership Development Program (LDP) is an up to 4 year-long experiential-learning program that empowers Jewish teens in 8th-12th grade to develop their Jewish identity, values, and leadership skills as they implement these programs. CCC currently engages 300 teens in LDP across Atlanta. We need innovative and enthusiastic team members to help us increase our community impact! The Program and Partnership Director plans and implements Creating Connected Communities’ (CCC's) larger outreach programs that provide significant support and much-needed resources to thousands of families in our community with the help of passionate Jewish teen volunteers. The person in this role develops partnerships with Title 1 schools, educational and housing support organizations and schools, as well as teen volunteer and corporate service groups to support CCC’s strategic goals. Duties and Responsibilities: Collaborate on the development and implementation of CCC’s strategic plan related to our outreach work and community partnerships. Oversee all CCC community outreach programs, including festivals, celebrations, GOAL, Support, and others. Oversee the Program Department, including the overall program budget and calendar in collaboration with the Assistant Outreach Program Director. Lead program planning, partner recruitment, vendor communication, and day-of logistics to implement CCC’s larger outreach programs, including festivals and celebrations. Collaborate with CCC’s Education Director to create meaningful volunteer experiences for our teens that connect our leadership development goals with our outreach work. Recruit teens within CCC and in the larger community to participate in our programs in partnership with the education and marketing teams. Manage teen volunteer registration and communication, including serving as the day-of contact and tracking attendance and service hours. Collaborate with outreach program partners to identify how our programs can best support their students and clients. Lead initiatives that engage corporate and youth service groups in meaningful projects that support our outreach work, including Smile Bag (personal care items) packs, book collections, and other in-kind donation opportunities. Collaborate with the development team to identify and secure needed in-kind items and services for our programs, including maintaining and expanding in-kind vendor relationships. Manage CCC’s storage units and program supply inventory related to budgeting/financial recording and program planning in partnership with the Assistant Outreach Program Director. Manage the Outreach Program Committee’s meeting schedule, meeting materials, and support for the Committee’s Chair(s). Participate in professional development and networking opportunities to ensure CCC is utilizing best practices for community outreach programs. Manage social media presence related to CCC’s larger programs, including a recap of community outreach programs, spotlight of participants and program results, and community news. Perform other related duties, as assigned. Required Qualifications: Be adept at being part of a team with an “all hands-on deck” approach. Excellent project management and interpersonal relationship-building skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong work ethic, sense of accountability and responsibility, patience, and maturity. Affinity for the dual mission of CCC. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, & CCC’s CRM. This role does require the physical movement of supplies and the setup of larger items, such as supply bins, folding tables, and chairs. Work hours are variable and programs typically occur late afternoons and weekends. Fluency in Spanish is a plus. Employment is contingent upon passing a background check. Required Education and Experience: At least three years of large-scale event management experience; including coordination of outside vendors and event space logistics. Experience with teen education programs, camps, or youth programs is preferred.
