Position Description:

The Epic Certified Analyst supports revenue cycle staff in the use and optimization of Epic Resolute Professional Billing (PB). This position will analyze user needs and develop software solutions. Design or customize software for client use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency. All remote work must be performed within one of the MCW registered payroll states, which currently includes: WI, AZ, FL, IL, IN, MD, MI, MN, MO, NC, TN,TX, and UT.

Responsibilities: Analyze and supports the development, creation, and modification of applications software or specialized utility programs to support clinical and operational workflows within the Epic Systems. Analyzes clinical or operational workflows supported by the assigned products and their relationship to the technical environment in which they operate. Implements and maintains Epic systems and databases to ensure optimum performance. Manages complex information system projects/products in order to provide automated solutions. Maintains Epic applications and facilitates updates, new releases, and system enhancements. Communicates project and team status to internal and external audiences to keep the project team informed. Develops program logic for new applications or analyzes and modifies logic in existing applications. Codes, tests, debugs, documents, implements and maintains software applications. Carries out work assignments designed to prepare developer for promotion to the next level of application development. Represents MCW while working with business and hospital affiliates regarding systems configuration, testing, debugging, and other applications analysis activities. Communicates with application vendors to debug, test, and resolve application failures. Use established procedures and tools to help end users more effectively use Epic. Assist in identifying and supporting activities to better support end user experiences by using data and participating in meetings related to the provider and end user proficiency. Knowledge - Skills - Abilities Expertise in writing and executing integrated test scripts for the full spectrum of the revenue cycle (scheduling/registration/charges/coding/billing/claim). Experience in knowledge transfer and documentation of system build, testing, and end-user acceptance. Knowledge of computers, electronics, digital media, databases, applications, software development, risk management, and information security. Skill in active listening to accurately diagnose end user issues; problem solving and "can do" attitude. Ability to earn trust and respect across multiple organizations.

Preferred Schedule:

Full-time role with expectations for coverage during core business hours and flexibility required as necessary to accommodate business needs.

Position Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications: Appropriate experience may be substituted for education on an equivalent basis Minimum Required Education: Bachelor's Degree Minimum Required Experience: 3 years working in an academic medical center; Prior experience with professional revenue cycle required; Epic Resolute experience required. Preferred Qualifications: Certification: Certification in one of the following Epic modules: PB Resolute, PB Resolute with SBO, PB Claims Administration and PB Electronic Remittance, Epic Transplant workflows, Epic Reporting Workbench and Dashboards, Epic Import/Export batch jobs.
