Job Description
Thoroughly examine machined parts for burrs, defects, and other foreign object debris (FOD). Utilize proper procedures to remove FOD and correct any defects, while maintaining a high level of part quality.
Responsibilities- Responsible for effective and efficient examination of machined parts
- Serve as a quality checkpoint for parts prior to shipping to customers
- Identify and correct any part defects
- Work with proper tooling to remove any foreign object debris
- Deburr and polish parts throughout the day (30% microscope work)
- Maintain work area in a neat and orderly condition; practice FOD control
- Work safely and comply with all established safety rules, work practices, policies, and procedures
- Express a positive work attitude and promote a 'team' approach throughout the department and company
- Experience deburring, buffing, grinding, and/or cleaning parts to remove Foreign Object Debris (FOD)
- Experience working under a microscope at varying levels of magnification (3x – 15x)
- Ability to work utilizing magnification for extended periods of time
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and dexterity
- Comfortable handling small parts (e.g., screws, rivets, nuts)

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $35360.00 - $41600.00
