About the role: Experienced engineer to represent design quality engineering on value improvement projects (VIP). Projects are staffed by cross-functional engineering teams supporting commercialized products. Teams will identify opportunities, scope projects, and lead cost-savings initiatives. Your responsibilities will include: Analyze complaint and performance data to identify cost savings opportunities. Collaborate with cross-functional team, to include Operations/Manufacturing. Continually seeks to drive improvements in product and process quality. Summarizes, analyses, draws conclusions and makes appropriate decisions from test results or other process related findings. Read and interpret technical drawings, procedures, and protocols Checks and provides support in the execution and investigation of CAPAs, NCEP, Failure Mode Investigations, etc. Is a good team member, fully motivated to achieve and demonstrate best practices in line with the department and Site objectives. Provides focused quality engineering support for sustaining engineering team to ensure the delivery of the highest quality product to the customer.
