Job Summary
Performs manual and/or repetitive job duties which may include inspecting, packing, and assembling of product.
Job Details/Responsibilities
Manually pack product into proper shelf packs/cases/shippers/bags, etc.
Ability to inspect both visually and functional aspects of product.
Ability to assemble product as required; may need use of hand tools.
May include some equipment operation.
Maintain clean work area.
Participates in project performance team meetings on behalf of the job unit in order to provide ideas, methods, or processes for unit/company performance improvement.
Performs other job related duties as assigned.
May include responsibility for inventory levels.
Associate is responsible to follow requirements of TMC Quality System; including but not limited to: process controls, inspection procedures, document/data control, and change control practices.
Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA)
Ability to operate manual and/or automated equipment to include forklift and use of hand tools.
Typically requires close exacting attention to work being performed.
Typically requires standing for a considerable amount of the work day.
Must have good documentation skills.
Qualifications/ Background Experiences
One to two years experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
Requires a high school diploma and knowledge of intermediate mathematics.
Typically requires manual dexterity/hand-eye coordination with 20/20, equivalent or corrective vision.
