Job Description EBAD is seeking a Quality Engineering Lead in our Moorpark, CA facility. Responsibilities: This position leads and supervises the Quality Engineering group. The candidate will be responsible for all aspects of quality engineering supervision and assistance with quality assurance functions. Leads quality functions for assigned programs from proposal through shipment to customer while complying with customer requirements and achieving EBAD safety, quality, delivery, and cost expectations. Leads and assist in investigating and correcting quality-related issues (including customer complaints) through collaboration with other departments. Maintains quality metrics (CAPAs, NCRs, SCARs etc.). Uses lean manufacturing tools to implement improvements and ensure effective RCCAs are provided. Leads on-boarding and training for Quality Engineers. Ensures that the Quality Engineering Team follows standard work to ensure that all procedures and tasks are done. Participates in all regulatory, third party and customer audits and inspections. Actively participates in IPTs and provides program support. Hosts customer quality audits and participate in internal quality audits. Participates in new product development and failure investigations. Interfaces and communicates effectively with a variety of personnel in support of production including operators, quality engineers, inspectors, shop floor management, program managers, product engineers and development engineers. Interfaces with suppliers and customers concerning program quality requirements. Oversees and coordinates activities to achieve SQDC performance targets. Requirements: The successful candidate has a BS/MS in a science or engineering discipline, or equivalent experience and5+ years of experience in quality engineering. Required experience includes: Interpreting customer specifications and creation of formal quality plans for programs. ISO 9001/AS 9100 quality systems knowledge Must have experience in root cause/corrective and preventative action and the ability to lead project teams and customers through the analysis. Proficient with Microsoft Office suite software. Significant experience in Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement with strong problem-solving skills. Desired skills: Six Sigma Black or Green Belt. ASQ CQE/CQM Certification. Experience working in military or aerospace quality systems. Significant experience working directly with customers and suppliers. Compensation: Salary Range: $100,000 - $150,000 per year.
