Position Description:
The Manager, Organizational Change, isa key position within the Talent team at George Brown College and will be responsiblefor implementing and executing organizational change initiatives to enhanceoperational efficiency, employee engagement, drive our culture andorganizational effectiveness. This role supports the implementation ofcomprehensive change management frameworks and strategies aligned with GeorgeBrown College's strategic goals and values.
The Manager works collaborativelywith project leaders to create change plans and ensure organizational readinessfor transformation. Reporting to the Director, Change Management, the incumbentis responsible for assessing, designing, and implementing change initiativeswhile fostering stakeholder engagement and managing resistance.

KeyResponsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive change management strategies and frameworks.
- Lead and manage major change initiatives, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
- Oversee / develop stakeholder engagement, communication plans, and training programs.
- Monitor and report on the progress of change initiatives, identifying and mitigating risks.
- Facilitate workshops and focus groups to build consensus and gather feedback.
- Educate and train employees on change management methodologies.
- Managing resistance to change and fostering buy-in at all organizational levels.
- Collaborate with external consultants and stakeholders on specialized projects.
- Support the development and application of change management frameworks tailored to organizational needs.
- Other duties as assigned.
Educational and Experience Requirements:
- Undergraduate degree from a recognized post-secondary institute in Organizational Development or Organizational Psychology is required.
- Minimum seven (7) years of relevant experience and knowledge in leading change management activities in organization wide projects.
- Certified in Change Management (e.g., Prosci Certified, CCMP, CMI, AIM).
- Certification or Specialized Training in Coaching, Change Leadership Models or Adult Education.
- Lean Six Sigma or Agile certification an asset (e.g., SAFe Agilist, Certified ScrumMaster).
- Ability to draft communications and present to various stakeholders.
- High competency in facilitation and influencing.
Skills andAttributes:
- Ability to build strong relationships, establish trust, influence decision-making and gain consensus on solutions across organizational levels.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to uphold the College's priorities on diversity and equity.
- Expertise in change management models (e.g., ADKAR, Kotter's 8 Steps, Lewin's Change Model).
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
