We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Automotive Office Manager to join our Administrative team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, with proficiency in various accounting software, including DealerTrack. This role is essential in ensuring the accuracy of financial records and compliance with regulatory standards. The Accountant will play a crucial role in financial reporting, analysis, and strategic planning. This job requires experience, the ability to be a team player, work quickly and complete work in a timely manner. This position can grow into so much more with effort, persistence, ambition and accurate work.
Duties Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements in accordance with factory requirements Perform account reconciliations to ensure the integrity of financial data. Manage journal entries and ensure proper documentation for all transactions. Conduct accrual accounting to accurately reflect the company's financial position. Assist in budgeting processes by providing financial insights and forecasts. Support compliance efforts through meticulous record-keeping and reporting. Engage in financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement. Mentor junior accounting staff, providing guidance on best practices and professional development. Assist With Month-End Closings, In addition to Year End Closings Qualifications
2 Years Minimum of Dealership Accounting Experience is Required Proficiency in Dealertrack or similar accounting software is Required. Experience with account reconciliation, financial statement preparation, and budgeting is essential. Familiarity with compliance requirements is a plus. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
