Summit Medical Staffing Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care for a travel nursing job in Norfolk, Virginia. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care Discipline: RN Start Date: 12/30/2024 Duration: 12 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours Employment Type: Travel PICU Experience: 3 years Licenses: RN(Compact Accepted) Certifications: BLS; ACLS; PALS References: 1 Reference in entire work history Flu required. No exemptions2 years of PICU and CVPICU experience to include hands on with generalized respiratory, neuro surge patients and a vigorous cardiac care background. Certs and License cannot expire during the 1st 13 weeks Strong skill set needed in all care areas due to our acuity and diverse population of patient diagnosis. High proficiency in post-neurosurgery patients, asthmatics, or trauma, SI, Status Epilepticus, Cleft Lip/ Palate, Craniofacial and specific medication administration (versed, narcotic analgesia). 12 hour rotating shifts to include every other weekend and holidays.
