Job Title: Cath Lab Technologist Job Specialty: Cath Lab Technology - Surgical Technologist Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 4x10-hour shifts, primarily days with some late nights, evenings, and on-call requirements Guaranteed Hours: Not Specified Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Cath Lab Technology License: Must be a Certified Surgical Technician or meet New York State requirements for grandfathering under Public Health Law 2824 Certifications: - Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) through CCI - Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association - COVID vaccine card showing fully completed COVID series Must-Have: - Experience with TAVR, MitraClip, and Watchmen - Experience in Right Heart and Left Heart Hemodynamics - Proficiency in Cardiac Interventions, CTO, PCI, Pericardiocentesis, and Vascular Interventions - Competence with RotoPro, LVADs, AngioVac, FlowTriever - Mechanical Circulatory Support Experience: ECMO, Impella, IABP, ProtekDuo - Structural Heart experience: TAVR, MitraClip, Watchman, CardioMEMS, PFO, ASD, VSD, Valvuloplasty - Critical care or cardiac experience Job Description: - Prepare the procedure room and sterile field for surgical procedures - Set up sterile supplies, instruments, and equipment - Anticipate equipment required during procedures - Operate equipment and maintain sterile instruments - Function in multiple roles on the procedure team including scrub, circulator, and documenter - Utilize strong organizational skills throughout all duties This opportunity requires a skilled and certified surgical technologist to join a dynamic team within the field of cardiac technology.
