The Opportunity
This position works onsite at our Alameda, CA location in the Lingo Division. Working on Lingo, you will help build a next-generation technology that enables individuals to make decisions about how to improve energy, lose weight or enhance athletic performance. The Sr. Mobile DevOps Engineer to handle DevOps activities for mobile applications and backend services, including iOS and Android build pipelines. You will set up configuration management, continuous integration, and DevOps best practices to ensure a secure and scalable release of mobile applications. You’ll work closely with software engineering, cybersecurity, product management, and cloud engineering teams, and partner with the software quality assurance team to build compliance-ready CI/CD pipelines.
What You’ll Work On
Design, test, and deploy secure, scalable CI/CD pipelines for mobile apps on the Apple App Store and Google Play Console.
Ensure the security, scalability, and performance of the mobile infrastructure.
Participate in all stages of the software development life cycle.
Automate security testing (SAST and DAST) through the DevSecOps pipelines.
Manage Apple and Google Developer Accounts and ensure app store compliance of mobile applications at all times.
Optimize development and release processes through automation.
Maintain build infrastructure and IDE integrations (e.g., Apple Xcode, Android Studio).
Define branching, merging, and source code management strategies.
Build CI/CD pipelines using mobile apps deployment platforms such as Fastlane, Firebase or Bitrise
Stay updated with industry trends and best practices, especially in the medical device sector.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering or related field.
Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience as a DevOps engineer.
Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer, focusing on mobile applications for at least 2 years
Strong experience with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions and Harness.
Proficient in at least one of the scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python, Go) and configuration driven automation technologies (e.g., YAML, JSON).
Experience building CI/CD pipelines and automating release processes for iOS and Android apps.
Experience with internal and external test management of mobile applications (Google Play Console, Apple Store).
Experience optimizing build, deployment, and release management processes.
Experience managing the release lifecycle through various environments.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Azure Cloud and Azure PaaS services.
Familiarity with healthcare data security and privacy regulations.
