TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Santa Clara, California, 95051 About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery Job Specialty: Maternal Child Health (MCH) - Critical Need Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12 hours, 07:00 PM to 07:30 AM Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum 1 year of recent experience within the last 3 years, full-time equivalent License: Registered Nurse License (in the state where care is provided) Certifications: - Basic Life Support - Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program - ACLS Must-Have: - 1-year high-risk labor and delivery experience within the last two years is preferred - Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field is preferred - Five-plus years of recent experience in Labor and Delivery is preferred - High Risk OB experience is preferred Job Description: - Provide high-quality care to mothers and newborns in a labor and delivery setting. - Monitor patient conditions and collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans. - Assist in labor and delivery procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort. - Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers. - Educate patients and families on postnatal care and health practices. - Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
