TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified NICU RN in Vacaville, California, 95688 About The Position Job Title: Maternal Child Health Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty: Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) - Critical Need Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12hrs, 07:00 PM to 07:30 AM Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week Experience: 1-year recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience in Level III Neonatal Intensive Care License: Registered Nurse License (in the state where care is provided) Certifications: - Basic Life Support - Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program Must-Have: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification Job Description: - Provide high-quality care to critically ill newborns in a Level III NICU setting. - Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans. - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care for patients. - Educate and support families of neonates with complex medical needs. - Monitor and document patient progress and ensure accurate medical record keeping. - Stay current with best practices and latest advancements in neonatal care. - Preferred: Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field and seven years of recent experience in Level III Neonatal Intensive Care within the last ten years.
