Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Emergency Department Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (18:00 - 06:00) Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum 1 year required License: Valid CA License required Certifications: Not specified Must-Have: Must be willing to work 2 out of the 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year Job Description: - Opportunity for a Registered Nurse to work in the Emergency Department on night shifts. - First-time travelers accepted. - Weekend shifts are required occasionally. - Nurses may be required to float between similar units within the hospital. - Open to accommodating block schedules per manager's discretion. - Local candidates accepted within a 50-mile radius, though at a lower rate. - Pending licenses are not accepted; candidates must have a valid license in hand. - Experience with Epic charting is required. - Candidates are expected to float within the hospital or to nearby affiliated hospitals. - Hospital is an acute care facility with 150 staffed beds. - Scrub color for RNs is any solid color, typically Royal Blue or Navy. - COVID-19 vaccine is not required; flu vaccine status is unknown. - Orientation is 40 hours, and completion of pre-start modules is required. - Modules are non-billable with an average of 16 hours spent, and over 20 hours requires approval.
