Clinical Nurse (RN) - Sunnybrook Foot & Ankle Clinic
Sioux City, Iowa
Full-time Benefit Package
Shift: Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm

At Sunnybrook Foot & Ankle, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to patients with foot and ankle conditions. Collaborating with podiatrists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals, you will contribute to the overall well-being of patients by assisting in diagnosis, treatment, and management of foot and ankle disorders.
Patient Assessment:
Conduct thorough assessments of patients' foot and ankle conditions. Document medical histories, symptoms, and other relevant information.
Treatment Support:
Assist podiatrists during examinations, procedures, and surgeries. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. Provide wound care, dressings, and post-operative care.
Patient Education:
Educate patients on foot and ankle health, including preventive measures and lifestyle changes. Instruct patients on proper care of wounds, casts, and orthopedic devices.
Collaboration:
Collaborate with podiatrists, orthopedic surgeons, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care. Communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary team. Qualifications: Current State License to Practice, RN. High school diploma or equivalent. BLS and Mandatory Reporter certification. Knowledge of clinical skill techniques, procedures, medical diagnoses, and treatments. Prior surgical work experience, a plus!
