The Opportunity

This position works out of our Abbott Park, IL location in the GES Global Engineering Services division.

Join Our Team as a Senior Business Systems Analyst! We are seeking a dynamic professional with a proven track record in developing data-intensive Power BI reports and dashboards, meticulous data governance, and innovative technology security strategies. If you have experience developing robust analytical tools, a background in Engineering, Computer Science, or IT, and are an effective communicator at all levels, we want you on our team!

What You’ll Work On:

  • Data Visualization : Spearhead the development of robust analytical tools, utilizing cutting-edge software.

  • Technology Innovation: Proactively seek out and integrate new technologies to enhance our internal processes, creating a competitive edge in strategic pricing and contracting.

  • Data Development: Craft new Power BI reports and dashboards to enable data-driven decision-making.

  • Data Governance: Meticulously document both new and existing workflows, ensuring clarity and continuity in our operations.

  • Compliance (Security Education & Awareness) : Generate comprehensive technical documentation and conduct cross-training sessions to establish job redundancy and ensure comprehensive security driven operations.

  • Technology security strategy: Design and present proof of concepts to demonstrate the practicality of new security technologies, securing stakeholder buy-in and facilitating widespread adoption.

  • Business Intelligence : Proven track record of developing data-intensive Power BI reports/dashboards for vulnerability tracking and analysis for non-traditional technology and security assets.

  • Business security operations: Technology Security optimization streamlining business processes through an integrated security model for physical security systems .

  • Provide project support and project management.

  • Provide guidance and training to less experienced analysts.

Required Qualifications

  • Education Level: Bachelors Degree;

  • Major/Field of Study in Engineering and Computer Science or IT Degree

  • 4+ years experience in related field

  • Proficient in Power BI: data visualization, data governance, reports/dashboards

  • Strong leadership skills, including the ability to set goals and provide positive and constructive feedback respectfully to build positive relationships and improve business results

  • Ability to work effectively within a team in a fast-paced changing environment

  • Strong verbal and written communications with ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization

  • Multi-tasks, prioritizes and meets deadlines in timely manner.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Power Platform suite, including Power Query, Power Automate, and Power Apps

  • Networking and Cyber Security Background experience

  • Managing Enterprise Architecture

  • Physical Security Systems Knowledge

  • Experience Managing IoT Devices

The base pay for this position is $72,700.00 – $145,300.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
