Calling all Tax Preparers! We have partnered with a CPA firm to seek out a talented Tax Preparer to join their team for a 1 month project starting in February. If you have high attention to detail and 5+ years of experience in tax preparation, we encourage you to apply today!

Job Title: Tax Preparer
Location: 1 opening in Flower Mound, TX 75028 | 1 opening in McKinney, TX 75070 [Total of 2 Openings]
Pay Rate: $40/hr.+ BOE
Schedule: M-F, 8AM to 5PM CST
Duration: February to March 2025 w/ potential to Extend

Responsibilities for the Tax Preparer:

• Prepare and review individual, business entity, and multi-member group tax returns.
• Offer strategic tax planning and advice to clients.
• Research complex tax policies and compliance matters.
• Develop customized solutions to maximize tax efficiency.
• Assist clients in interactions with tax agencies, including audits and document reviews.
• Stay updated on legislative tax changes to maintain compliance.
• Utilize QuickBooks (Desktop and Online) and Microsoft Excel for tax preparation and reporting.

Requirements for the Tax Preparer:

• 5+ years of tax preparation experience
• Prior experience with QuickBooks & Excel
• Strong knowledge of accounting and tax concepts
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Exceptional customer service skills including written and verbal English communications
• Ability to work independently and meet deadline
