Director of Marketing Position: Full-Time Location: This position offers remote work from (Los Angeles/New York/Denver). OVERVIEW The Director of Marketing will play a key role in promoting the agency's brand and expanding its market presence through effective marketing strategies and communications. This role is responsible for strategizing and executing Movement's social media efforts, managing our PR plan and execution, managing award submissions, enhancing marketing materials, and supporting the new business pitch process. The ideal candidate will have a blend of creativity, strategic thinking, and project management skills, with a proven ability to deliver results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. KEY FOCUS AREAS 60% of Role: Social Media Strategy Execution : Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with the agency's goals, working closely with creative teams and internal resources. Manage all aspects of social media content creation, publishing, content calendar creation and performance analysis. You are an expert in LinkedIn and B2B marketing and have a knack for writing and developing captivating content that would attract CMOs and VPs of Marketing. 30% of Role: Award Submissions : Lead the process of submitting the agency's work for relevant industry awards, including crafting compelling case studies and coordinating with various internal teams to gather necessary data and insights. Case Study Development : Elevate the agency's case studies by incorporating insights and data relevant to prospective clients. Ensure all marketing materials are up-to-date, visually appealing, and effectively communicate the agency's value proposition. Branding Events : Working in concert with Business Development and other departments leaders, you are able to craft and execute agency branding, website, employee branding and event presence with an eye towards ensuring the agency's value proposition is compelling and being executed across all channels consistently and with excellence 10% of Role: New Business Proposals : Support proposal development, credential deck development and RFP pitch process support with collaboration with Business Development on an as needed basis. . QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum of 8-10 of experience in marketing, communications, or a related role, preferably in an agency setting Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis in creating compelling content on LinkedIn that entices and engages the marketing community Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines Experience with digital marketing tools and platforms, with an emphasis on social media best practices Creative thinker with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically A desire to roll up your sleeves and develop and make social content for LinkedIn vs outsourcing it to others IDEAL QUALITIES High energy, passionate, curious, confident, and tenacious in learning, coupled with the ability to navigate the nuances of different client teams. Must communicate quickly and accurately, think quickly or improvise, and present confidently. The range listed is just one component of Movement Strategy's total compensation package for employees. Individual compensation varies based on location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. A successful applicant's actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, skill sets, years of relevant experience, qualifications, and certifications or other professional licenses held.
