Material Handler Job at Aerotek in Bettendorf

Job Summary:

Currently looking to hire forklift operators/material handlers for a facility located in Bettendorf, IA. Candidates looking to work for a clean environment that prioritizes safety first and a strong culture are urged to apply!

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for movement of all materials to and from the production department
• Safe and effective operation of forklift, clamp truck and pallet jacks
• Responsible for daily pre-shift forklift checks, including battery changes
• Inspect properly packaged product for shipment to customers
• Consistently lift boxes that weight up to 35 lbs
• Properly and completely fill our labels and paperwork
• Verify correct weights and counts
• Construct cardboard boxes from collapsed cartons
• Must relieve packers for all breaks

Requirements:

• Minimum 6 months of recent forklift experience
• Must have prior experience working in a manufacturing setting
• Have a high school diploma or GED equivalent

Additional Information:

• Rotating shift - Morning (7am - 7pm) and night shift (7pm - 7am)
• Weekly pay + full benefits offered

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.50
