Complex Litigation Associate – Mid-Level to Senior Litigation Practice Our client is seeking a mid-level to senior litigation associate (JD, 2017-2022) to join their Complex Litigation Practice Group in the Houston office. This distinguished practice is known for its success in handling sensitive, complex, and high-stakes litigation. The team works collaboratively across multiple offices, taking on precedent-setting cases and resolving significant disputes across the commercial landscape. Unlike many large firms, they regularly try cases to verdict in federal and state courts nationwide. Over half of the Fortune 250 companies rely on this firm as outside counsel, and they are deeply committed to pro bono work, with attorneys contributing approximately 100,000 pro bono hours annually. Qualifications: Exceptional legal analysis and writing skills. Strong academic credentials and references. Currently licensed, or eligible to become licensed, to practice law in Texas. Preferred but not required: experience performing at trial, arguing matters before courts or arbitrators, and taking/defending depositions. Judicial clerkship experience is highly valued, particularly federal clerkships. Those with federal clerkship experience are entrusted with substantive work immediately upon joining.
