Home - Metronome (wearemetronome.com) Description: Metronome is looking for an exciting opportunity for a Linux System Admin to assist with the development, integration, deployment, and sustainment of mission critical systems that enable NGA's Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT) mission collecting sciences, technology and tradecraft measuring and modeling the Globe to provide three-dimensional accuracy of every point in, on, or above the Earth. SEC + Requires BS degree and 8-12 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6-10 years of prior relevant experience; OR 4 years of experience in lieu of degree Technical Expertise:

Proficient in administering, configuring, and troubleshooting Linux operating systems, including Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and Ubuntu Server. Cybersecurity Compliance:

Experience implementing and maintaining DISA STIGs and managing system hardening in accordance with DoD Information Assurance policies. Automation & Scripting:

Strong skills in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Perl to automate administrative tasks and improve operational efficiency. Networking Knowledge:

Familiarity with TCP/IP networking, firewalls, and troubleshooting network-related issues in a Linux environment. Tools & Technologies:

Hands-on experience with configuration management tools like Ansible or Puppet, and monitoring solutions like Nagios or Splunk.
