At Databricks, we are passionate about enabling data teams to solve the world’s toughest problems — from making the next mode of transportation a reality to accelerating the development of medical breakthroughs. We do this by building and running the world’s best data and AI infrastructure platform so our customers can use deep data insights to improve their business.

More about the team:

The rapid advancements in AI over the past year have ignited a race for companies to become AI-driven and leverage the power of Generative AI (GenAI). A key factor in building successful GenAI solutions is data intelligence—combining enterprise data with general-purpose models to achieve high-performing AI systems.

To address this crucial need, the Databricks Mosaic AI team has developed an innovative model training platform that empowers our customers to:

  • Build high-quality AI models tailored to their specific use cases
  • Gain deep insights into offline model performance through powerful visualization tools
  • Accelerate deployment to production with our unified platform

This solution goes beyond what other market offerings provide, delivering a comprehensive approach to AI model development and deployment. As a pivotal product for Databricks, it is expected to play a critical role across multiple teams and drive the future of AI innovation within the company.

Join us on the Mosaic AI team and be at the forefront of redefining what’s possible with Generative AI. We’re seeking a dynamic and driven Product Manager who embodies an “own it” attitude, thrives on first principles thinking, and excels at influencing key stakeholders.

The impact you will have:

  • You will own the model training product, roadmap, and business.
  • You will use a mix of customer interviews, data analysis, and market research to reach conclusions and drive alignment with your stakeholders, and then design product features to address them.
  • You will work with our senior engineers to innovate and invent on behalf of customers, you will work with senior leaders to build sales enablement and go to market strategies, and you will work with customers to continue to understand their needs and refine our road map.

What we look for:

  • 5+ years of Product Management experience
  • Product managers who have demonstrated the ability to build, ship, and iterate on a product multiple times
  • Naturally curious product managers who are truth-seeking
  • First principles thinkers who can innovate from breaking problems down
  • Customer-obsessed product managers who make customers feel heard and help the team with customer empathy
  • Product managers who can quickly gain influence and collaborate with multiple stakeholders
